We have an exciting new opportunity for a Safety and Compliance executive to join our client based in either Manchester or Middlesex. Supporting the Regional Stations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring safety & security standards and emergency management are consistently complying with the company's local safety standards and policies.

The Job:

  • Supports Station Management team by safeguarding and improving flight safety and security, by ensuring that processes and procedures are executed and documented in full compliance with company and local authority requirements.
  • Prepares and assists the Station Management team with internal and external audits and inspections, analysing the findings, making recommendations and developing action plans to ensure full compliance with the requirements.
  • Monitor, analyse and steers through action planning the safety level of operations at all UK & Ireland stations, in close cooperation with the Station Management team and the head office safety departments.
  • Ensures that, in cooperation with participating airlines, the Emergency Management organisation, manuals and materials comply consistently with the company's standards as outlined in 'Joint Emergency Planning Policy'.
  • Support the Station Management team with the implementation, execution and follow-up of flight safety, work safety and security projects at the stations.
  • Monitors and supports the Station Management team in training and educating the teams and handling agents to ensure security and safety compliance
  • Act as support for all UK & Ireland stations as and when required with any ad hoc projects presented by Regional Stations Manager and/or Head Office.

The Person:

  • Thorough knowledge of ground safety policies, processes, procedures and station administration.
  • Basic Office 365
  • Substantial experience of working in an operational airline position in areas such as station management, operations and/or aircraft handling.

The Package:

Salary £30-40K (depending on experience)
Monday - Friday (will need to be flexible)
Travel to different airports will be required
