Excellent and rare opportunity for someone with impeccable luxury worldwide travel industry knowledge and experience at managerial level. A UK leading long-haul tour operator is keen to recruit a successful travel manager to support and lead it's team of successful travel consultants in booking luxury itineraries in one of their retail stores. A generous salary package is available to the successful candidate. Based in Cheshire.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
-You will lead the travel team to make reservations and deliver against revenue target whilst offering a superb customer experience
-General day to day running of the office, operationally and administratively
-Training and supporting your Travel Consultants, ensuring up to date up to date knowledge of products and services to promote
-Ensure 1 - 1's are conducted monthly and team meetings on a daily basis
-Work towards KPIs of: sales revenue, conversion rates and customer satisfaction
- Work with head of Head of Sales to maximise use of retail staff for fulfillment of overflow calls and emails from the main call centre
-Working, a range of shifts including late evenings and weekends
-Exceptional luxury worldwide product and tailor-made enquiries
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
We are looking for a strong Manager who has proven experience of developing a new team into a successful one. - focusing on driving sales and a happy work environment / well-being.
You will need solid experience of selling luxury travel to worldwide destinations.
THE PACKAGE:
Salary is dependent on experience, but highly competitive and above average. There are additional benefits including bonuses, travel discounts and educationals.
