We are assisting a MICE Travel (based in Central London) who are looking for a Sales / Reservations Account Executive to join their team (office based or homeworking).

Job duties:

• Booking all forms of transportation for both individuals and groups
• Issuing, amending, cancelling, refunding tickets for both individual and group travel
• Issuing invoices and credit notes
• Dealing with travel visa requirement on behalf of customers
• Working closely with other departments
• Meeting existing/new customers to build a good relationship if required
• Create travel plans in accordance with clients' requirement
• Research the best options for the hotels, where to visit and what/where to eat etc
• Prepare presentations, proposals, quotations and sales contract
• Negotiation with suppliers to meet the clients' needs for the tour
• Follow up for the collection of payment/making invoices
• Occasional stepping in as Tour Escort (1 week travel with a group in Japan) if needed
• Sales calls/visits to obtain new clients

Job requirements:

• Experience within the Travel Industry (essential)
• Excellent communication skills - English / Japanese speaking (essential)
  Amadeus knowledge (highly desirable)
• Experience working within a sales / reservation's role
• Computer skills at intermediate level (word / excel)
• A quick learner / tech savvy
• Calm under pressure
• Can do attitude and cooperative
• Persuasive

The package:

• A competitive offered, depending on experience
• Hybrid working conditions (3 days in the office / 2 from home) - fully remote available for Reservations
• Monday - Friday (office hours)
• 20 days plus 2 days around Christmas/New Year + bank holidays Holiday. Increasing to 25 days (1 day for each year of service).
