Are you a travel professional with a passion for product, strong commercial awareness and an eye for detail? Do you enjoy analysing market trends, working with suppliers and making sure customers have access to the right products at the right price? If so, this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for! I'm looking for a Product Executive to join a successful and established travel business, working closely with the Head of Product to ensure an exciting and competitive product offering across all brands. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is commercially minded, analytical and organised, with a genuine passion for travel and an interest in developing their career within Product. Salary from £26k pa depending on experience, this is ideally an office based role in Birmingham, although hybrid working will be considered after training.

THE ROLE

  • Assist the Head of Product and Product Team with the development and delivery of the company's product offering
  • Monitor competitor activity, pricing and product offerings to identify market trends and commercial opportunities
  • Build and maintain accurate product content across internal systems
  • Ensure websites are kept up to date with product information, imagery, rates, special offers and product tags
  • Liaise with suppliers, partners and third parties, resolving product and operational queries
  • Produce regular product, supplier and commercial performance reports
  • Maintain accurate product documentation, supplier information and contact details
  • Support the investigation and resolution of supplier-related queries and customer complaints
  • Work closely with Marketing, providing product information, imagery and offers for campaigns and promotions
  • Attend supplier and partner meetings and ensure agreed actions are followed up
  • Coordinate supplier appointments, meetings and travel arrangements where required
  • Provide general support to the Product Team across a variety of projects and commercial activity

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

We're looking for someone with travel industry experience and a strong understanding of travel products and the wider industry.

You'll need to be:

  • A confident communicator, both verbally and in writing
  • Commercially aware with a good understanding of product and market trends
  • Highly proficient in MS Excel
  • Numerically strong and analytical
  • Extremely organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Comfortable managing multiple tasks and deadlines
  • A proactive team player with a creative and solutions-focused approach

Most importantly, you'll be passionate about travel and product and keen to play an important role within a busy and commercially focused Product Team.
