Established Tour Operator, specialising in luxury adventure and expedition travel, a leader in its field is expanding again and is looking to recruit a Travel Sales Executive for their team of Patagonia Specialists. Whilst we are ideally seeking candidates who have previous experience selling this fantastic destination, we are also looking for excellent experience in sales, a keen interest trekking, hiking, mountaineering, kayaking, rafting, wildlife, luxury travel, or even travelled around Patagonia then we want to hear from you, with a cover letter as to why you're suitable!
Salary is competitive, based on experience, with additional team & company bonuses, and additional benefits. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
We're looking for a Patagonia travel consultant, with both a passion for Patagonia and awesome sales smarts, to help guide customers through planning and booking their Patagonian adventure.
As part of a small team your primary role will be to help drive our Patagonia sales to achieve the company's strategic plans. We're looking for someone with adaptability, commercial nous and perseverance who can thrive in a dynamic environment.
- A real passion and enthusiasm for Patagonia
- Has first-hand knowledge of Patagonia across multiple regions, or longer trips, are highly desirable
- A keen interest in least one of the following; trekking, hiking, mountaineering, kayaking, rafting, wildlife, luxury travel, history, photography, flora and fauna
- Experience in travel sales is highly desirable
- Is ambitious, self-motivated and relishes a challenge
- Has the soft skills and enthusiasm to bring your knowledge to life for others
- Impeccable client facing skills, particularly by phone to an international clientele
- A strong commitment to customer service excellence
THE PACKAGE:
- The salary is competitive of £23K - £32K and commission
- They offer 25 days holiday per annum (plus your birthday), educational trips.
- Homeworking & Hybrid working in terms of location (able to get to Bristol periodically)
- Tailor-made educational visits to Patagonia (typically once a year)
- Standard office hours are 9am to 6pm GMT, Monday to Friday, however flexible working is available
- Company benefits include annual travel insurance, group pension scheme, bike-to-work scheme, flexible working policy, opportunity to work-and-travel and an annual Summer Adventure.
