The Fares & Ticketing department is a integral part of the travel industry and is usually responsible for distributing all NETT and published fares, as well as issuing travel tickets and documentation. Covering a wide range of responsibilities, Fares and Ticketing roles can be customer facing or behind the scenes, and deal with enquiries from travel agents and passengers, manage post booking queries, pre-departure changes, accommodation, flight requests, allocations, cancelled tickets, and organise various complex air itineraries and fares. Ticketing experience in manual and E-ticketing is essential, along with a strong working knowledge of a CRS and experience of Nett, published, consolidated, IT fares and CAT 35 fares. You will also have a working knowledge of TOD, PTA and MPD’s.
