JOB DESCRIPTION:
My client is built on automation, systems which are mainly developed by their own software development company. This role will be critical to the effectiveness of both the internal and customer facing software, it will require a good understanding of flight sales, and of travel reservations.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly expanding business for someone who is prepared to throw themselves into the role and wants to see their career grow.
Travel Systems Support Coordinator duties:
- Provide support and be recognised as a subject matter expert on GDS systems usage and internal systems.
- Assist in day to day usability of key systems, their business process and enhancements
- Use Native GDS for testing of systems
- Document system issues
- Report new issues to system development teams
- Suggest practical improvements
- Assist sales and Operations teams with GDS advice and training
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED;
You will be committed, enthusiastic and a supportive team member, who will ideally have knowledge of net airline fares and rules, booking and pricing vis GDS. High level of accuracy is required for this role.
