Do you have a background working in travel? Looking for a new challenge? Fancy something different? My client a leading luxury travel company based in Manchester City Centre, due to continued growth and success are looking to recruit a Trade Support Executive. In this role you will work with the Trade Sales team, and directly with Travel Agents to help drive the trade bookings for the business.

The role in a nutshell

The role of Trade Support Executive provides support to the wider Trade sales team to drive trade bookings for the business through travel agents. The successful individual should be highly organised and able to manage their time and a busy workload effectively ensuring deadlines are met and accuracy is maintained at all times. Candidates applying should relish a challenge and have a flexible approach to work, embracing change to help shape the department.

Key Duties:

  • Provide office support for Trade Sales Team
  • Monitor incentives, organise prize distribution
  • Assist with telephone account management and booking system training where required
  • Build strong rapport and supportive relationships with Travel Agents
  • Support reservations to build the trade relationships
  • Order merchandise, account gifts and prizes as required
  • Brochure Management for bulk and file copies to agent partners Produce daily/weekly/monthly and ad-hoc sales figure reports
  • Produce weekly sales support collateral for Sales Managers
  • Marketing support such as sharing offers and images
  • Organising and coordinating national and virtual information sessions and events
  • Assisting with coordinating Travel Agent Fam Trips and ship visits
  • Collating and coordinating overseas conferences
  • Attending information sessions, cruise shows and Fam Trips as required sometimes involving overseas travel and nights away from home
  • Due to the nature of the role in a rapidly growing company, this role will change and adapt over time and the individual should be excited and adaptable for new challenges this will bring

Experienced Required:

The successful candidate will already have travel industry experience, ideally with good working knowledge of Microsoft office and internal holiday booking systems. You will be self-motivated with good initiative, as well as being results and target orientated. This is a rapidly growing role so an exciting time to join the team, and really put your stamp on this position.

The Package:

In return for your hard work, an excellent basic salary is offered in the region of £26k pa dependent on experience, along with various company benefits.
