Are you a Travel Sales Consultant who prides themselves on exceptional customer service? Have you got experience of working for an independent travel operator and selling a niche travel product? Would you like to work for a luxury and independent travel operator in Windsor that offer a range of travel related services within the European market. This exciting opportunity has arisen to work as a Sales & Reservations consultant, where you will be the main point of contact for the company. The successful Consultant will receive a competitive salary, and the chance to travel overseas.

THE JOB:

• Manage sales leads received by the Company via the Company's website, email, mail or telephone, with the objective of maximising the number of confirmed bookings and revenues whilst complying with the Company's rules and policies on procedures, terms & conditions and pricing
• Assisting with preparing and sending out documentation during the booking process
• Processing credit card payments
• Maintain relationships with trade partners
• Assist in maintaining CREWS, the in-house reservation system with product loading, pricing, itineraries and inventory
• Other tasks as agreed with the Sales & Reservations Manager
• Assist in occasional weekend cover rota

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• The ideal applicant will have experience in a similar Travel Sales position.
• Computer skills to include Word, Excel, Outlook & Power-Point
• Excellent telephone manner and inter-personal skills.
• Good work-load management with the ability to prioritise all sales opportunities before other duties.
• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail is essential.
• A good sense of humour and a can-do approach are essential.

THE PACKAGE:

• Full-time & permanent
• Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00 / 10:00-18:00 on a roster basis
• 20 days holiday increases with service
• Company pension scheme
• Company bonus scheme
• Occasional overseas travel will be required
• Salary in the region of £23k depending on experience
