Are you experienced within the Travel Industry? Have you previously worked alongside a Sales Team and looking for your next exciting role? We have the position for you!!!

We are working with a well-known luxury tour operator based in the London Bridge area, so are looking for a Sales Coordinator to join their growing team!

The role will provide administrative support for both the Groups and Leisure Sales team, with the majority of the role handling group enquiries while also supporting the wider team in a variety of administrative tasks, including contracting.

Responsibilities:

  • Taking ownership of group and charter requests from direct clients by making phone calls to gather more details and build rapport, email follow up with necessary collateral and diarise further contact to review and convert business.
  • Manage all emails coming into your assigned Sales inboxes and forward to the relevant department & or individual/s.
  • Load any direct group or charter opportunities into the company software
  • Responding to general requests from the travel trade 4.5. Send group proposals using
  • Always looking to support on need dates where possible.
  • Coordinate with Director of Sales on bespoke pricing to issue charter proposals.
  • Ongoing review of the proposal templates to keep on brand and help convert new business.
  • Accurately make group and charter bookings in Travel Studio.
  • Insert names and all special requests into Travel Studio when supplied by the product operations team.
  • Accurate and timely issuance of group and charter contracts.
  • Accurately issue deposit, interim and final payment invoices ahead of the due date to ensure all payments are received on time.
  • Keep group and charter pipeline report up to date.
  • Timely and detailed post-sale group and charter handover utilising the Group
  • Arrangements Form to ensure all details are captured to deliver a bespoke guest experience.
  • Issue travel documentation.
  • Issue FIT contracts for new trade accounts.
  • Assist with any other administrative tasks required by sales team in a timely manner.
  • Conduct site inspections when required.
  • Follow environmental regulations and take measures to minimise our environmental impact. Be as environmentally aware as possible in all that you do.

Requirements:

  • 2 - 4 years relevant experience within a similar role.
  • Previous experience in a similar role - advantageous.
  • Relevant experience in the industry or related diploma or degree -advantageous
  • Initiative to drive sales process from plan to close - luxury sector advantageous
  • Demonstrated ability to be innovative and creative.
  • Exceptional communication, organisational & administrative skills.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office.
  • Knowledge of CRM and reservation systems advantageous.
  • Time management skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions & work independently when required.
  • Proven organisational & strong administration skills.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Customer service skills.
  • Experience in resolving customer issues/complaints advantageous
  • Good understating of financial principles.
  • Computer literacy skills.
  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
  • Intermediate French and/or Italian both written and verbal, is advantageous.

  • Salary - circa £28,000
