This fantastic opportunity is working for a well-established travel company that has a fantastic, niche product and is an innovative global company based in Market Harborough!
As a travel advisor you will provide information and support to customers by telephone and email resulting in holiday bookings. You will be responsible for conversing with our customers, many of them new who are calling for the very first time, creating the excitement of the starting point of booking their next holiday with you. You will also be responsible for the delivery of all sales/revenue/targets set by the business.

JOB DESCRIPTION
-Handling inbound & outbound calls providing information and support to customers resulting in holiday bookings.
-Responsible for the delivery of all sales/revenue/targets set by the business.
-To provide information and support to our customers resulting in sales being made through exceptional service.
-Responsible for conversing with our customers, who are calling for the very first time, creating the excitement of the starting point of booking their next holiday with us.
-Up sell & cross sell products and services including switch selling customers on to alternative options
-Adhere to all data protection, and ATOL protection guidelines.
-Take responsibility for development of and use of product knowledge in sales conversations
-Working towards targets

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Minimum 6 months sales experience dealing with customers over the phone or face to face
Excellent Communication & Customer Service Skills
Experience within a target driven environment
Good keyboard skills with experience in Microsoft Office (including Word and Excel)
THE PACKAGE
This is a full time permanent role working 37.5 hours per week on different shift patterns during the opening hours of the department. The opening hours are Monday - Friday 9am - 7pm, Saturday 9am - 5.30pm and Sunday 10am - 4pm.
A starting salary of £16000 -, dependent on experience is available for the successful candidate.
Additional benefits include educationals and commission are also on offer.
