This fantastic opportunity is working for a well-established luxury, long haul Tour Operator in their head office based in South Cambridgeshire, you would be dealing with emails and incoming calls from travel agents and direct clients throughout the day, the sales team put together tailor made holiday packages over the telephone whilst working to sales targets linked to excellent commission and bonus schemes included! You would start off specialising in specific destinations with my clients portfolio of areas expanding over time as more experience is gained. JOB DESCRIPTION * Dealing with incoming calls and emails from travel agents and direct clients throughout the day * Putting together Tailor Made Holidays to destinations all over the world * Offer expertise, advice and knowledge to customers/travel agents about destinations, airlines, ground arrangements, etc. * Building relationships with direct clients and travel agents in order to be able to pro-actively sell and gain a loyal client base for repeat bookings * Deliver sales targets by maximising profit and potential sales opportunities at all times whilst offering an exceptional and personalised service * Take advantage of opportunities and up-sell whenever possible. * And much much more EXPERIENCE REQUIRED * Preferably have a knowledge of the travel industry * Demonstrate a proven track record for excellent sales for a minimum of 6 months * Enjoy working towards and hitting sales targets * Have a passion for travel and ideally have travelled to some of our core destinations * Enjoy working in a busy and large team * Show excellent attention to detail * Must be competent in using outlook and be able to pick up new systems quickly (with training) THE PACKAGE: A starting salary FROM £16,500 dependent on experience is available for the successful candidate PLUS COMMISSION & BONUS Monday to Friday from 9am to 5.30pm and Saturdays 9am-5pm (one Saturday off in four) Additional benefits include educationals and incentives are also on offer.
