Travel Cruise Specialist, working for one of the UK's largest long-haul tour operator in Glasgow. Are you passionate about working in the Travel Industry? Keen to use your excellent customer Service or sales skills.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
My Client is recruiting Cruise Consultants based at their modern offices in Glasgow. You will actively promote and sell Cruises. You will provide an outstanding level of customer service that goes above and beyond all expectations, and that is fitting for customers who are prepared to pay for the best of everything. You will become a self-sufficient fares expert and be passionate and knowledgeable about ground products. You will see each booking through from start to end, accurately and in a timely manner.
Travel Cruise Specialist duties:
*Working closely with the Team Leader to ensure company sales and productivity targets are achieved
*Answer all incoming telephone calls and enquiries promptly and within the set Company guidelines.
*Work closely with agents to increase and drive revenue
*Sell and promote air and ground products effectively.
*In depth knowledge of Worldwide and European cruise products

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
We're looking for people ideally with some customer service skills gained working in the travel industry. If you have sales experience that would be a bonus. We will also look at candidates with a travel & tourism qualification, but with some customer service/sales experience.
*HND/HNC in Travel & Tourism
*Outstanding Customer Service/Sales skills, ideally gained within the travel industry

Desirable

*Previous sales experience within the travel industry selling and dynamically packaging long haul and European cruise products
*Experience of selling low cost, charter airlines and scheduled airlines
*An excellent and rounded knowledge of the long haul and European package market offering
*Knowledge of travel systems.
*Excellent Fares & Product Knowledge

INTERESTED:
You will be offered a basic salary plus commission of up to an extra £8,000 a year. Other benefits including life assurance, travel discounts, industry/social events.
