A leading specialist Sports Travel Tour Operator, with a cycling brand, adventure holiday brand and specialist Overseas Sports Resort has grown significantly in the last decade and especially as in 2022 with the revival or travel. They are growing their team of Reservations Consultant due to increased turnover, for their Sports Resort Brand and are looking for someone who can make bookings, tailoring activities for customers and process the whole booking from start to finish. Starting salary of £21k pa, Mon- Fri office hours, hybrid working and additional benefits available for the successful candidate!

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Working on reservations for an exclusive overseas resort that are seeking holidays focusing on exercise and activity
  • Dealing with clients predominantly over the phone to secure the booking
  • Tailoring the booking to their needs, booking activities to create the perfect sports based holiday
  • Processing bookings and payments via the phone, online and e-mail.
  • General Administration duties: Filling, Invoicing, Final info, accommodation vouchers, Scanning/shredding
  • Liaising with the resort in respect to the reservations
  • Liaise with accounts re: payments and reports.
  • Ensuring all records and files are kept up to date and accurate.
  • Take responsibility for special projects as directed from time to time.
  • Communication with other suppliers when required.
  • Attend sporting events in PR/Representation capacity where required, and may include travel overseas to events.
  • Working Mon- Fri office hours with hybrid available (3 days office, 2 days home)

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

The successful candidate will ideally have worked in a tour operator (or within a similar travel reservations role, such as retail travel) and/or have sports experience. You will have excellent communication skills, strong planning capability and knowledge of using Microsoft Office.
