An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a well-established independent travel agency based in Hertfordshire.

My client is seeking an experienced Travel Consultant with previous retail travel sales experience.

This role will suit someone with a proven Travel Agency background, excellent customer service and a passion for travel.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Working in a branch, with a small team of travel consultants
• Greeting customers face to face and also over the phone
• Quoting on a wide variety of worldwide travel itineraries
• Selling both package and dynamically packaged holidays
• Offering your customer a choice of tour operator, to sell the right holiday for their needs
• Selling additional products and services, such as car hire and travel insurance.
• Working to sales targets to earn commission whilst offering excellent customer service

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• A minimum of 5 years relevant experience in a travel agency environment
• Passionate about travel and customer service
• Enthusiastic, creative and with a positive attitude

PACKAGE:

• A very competitive basic salary of £33,000 (Depending on experience) + bonuses
• FAM trips
• Staff Parking

HOURS:

• Monday - Friday: 9am - 5:00pm
• Saturday: 9am - 3pm
• Closed Sunday's and Bank Holidays.
• Part time (4 days)
