We have an exciting new Travel Consultant vacancy for a Cheshire based Independent Travel Agency. Salary is dependent on experience but highly competitive/above average, along with bonuses. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a friendly, forward-thinking travel agency, selling a wide variety of holidays.

- Working in a travel agency, this is a customer-facing role, where you will take enquiries for travel itineraries in person and over the phone.
- Building a rapport with your customers, getting to know them and quoting the best holiday for their needs
- Quoting on a wide range of holidays, from European city breaks, to long-haul multi-centres
- As an independent Travel Agent, you will be selling a variety of Tour Operators, providing your customer with choices
- Capitalising on each enquiry to turn enquiries into reservations and reservations into repeat business.
- Working primarily Monday - Friday, with a rota for Saturdays, although some flexibility is required for busy periods so you can maximise bookings.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
We are looking for someone with a Travel Consultant background and we will consider applicants from retail travel and tour operations. You will have a genuine passion for travel and be a real 'people-person', with a flair for sales. Consideration will also be given to part-time applications and they could potentially consider a candidate at retail travel management level (with a salary to reflect).

Salary is dependent on experience, but dependent on experience and very much competitive. There is a bonus scheme available and this is a great opportunity to work in a friendly, established team.
