Or have you just graduated with a Tourism degree or fresh out of college looking to kick start your travel career? My client is a well-known independent agency keen to recruit a Travel Consultant to manage their telephone, e-mail, internet and face-to-face enquiries whilst pro-actively building rapport and turning enquiries into bookings. This is a Fantastic move for a dynamic Travel Consultant to join a thriving company!

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Working face-to-face and over the phone taking enquires from customers

Respond to customer enquires promptly whether by phone, email or face to face

Working in a small friendly team of travel consultants

Quoting holidays for a wide variety of destinations - European & Worldwide

Converting enquiries to bookings to reach targets and earn commission

Handle all customer service complaints quickly and effectively keeping your manager updated at all times, escalating where appropriate

Dealing with dynamic packaging/tailor-made itineraries as well as package holidays, to get the right holiday for your customer

Keeping your product and brand knowledge up to date whilst having an in-depth knowledge of the company's brochures and destinations.

FULL OR PART TIME - 30 - 37.5 Hours

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

If you are currently or have very recently worked in retail travel at any level and want to progress your career with this great company you are just what I am looking for!

Good knowledge in both short and long haul travel sectors would be beneficial.

Graduated with a Tourism degree or fresh out of college and studied travel and tourism
