Do you have previous travel experience within a retail or tour operator background?

I am seeking an experienced Travel Consultant to join a reputable, established independent Travel Agency base in Suffolk. My client has several branches across the UK and a loyal clientele built up over many years. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Travel Consultant with excellent customer service and a passion for travel.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Working in a branch, with a small team of travel consultants
• Greeting customers face to face and also over the phone
• Quoting on a wide variety of worldwide travel itineraries
• Selling both package and dynamically packaged holidays
• Offering your customer a choice of tour operator, to sell the right holiday for their needs
• Selling additional products and services, such as car hire and travel insurance.
• Working to sales targets to earn commission whilst offering excellent customer service

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• A minimum of 1 relevant experience in a travel agency environment
• Passionate about travel and customer service
• Enthusiastic, creative and with a positive attitude

THE PACKAGE:

Salary is highly competitive, in the region of £17,000 - £18,000 dependent on experience, plus bonuses with an OTE of circa £24,000

HOURS:

You will be required to work 5 days a week on a rota between Monday - Saturday: 09.00am - 5.00pm
