Calling all experienced Travel Professionals !! I am looking for an experienced travel consultant in the Nottingham area who would love to join a small close knit team based in a local travel agency. If you enjoy giving excellent customer service, itinerary planning and managing a booking from start to finish this could be the role for you. This position is part time, 3 days a week and offers an excellent salary and company benefits.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Assist clients in-person in determining their travel needs and preferences

Development of detailed travel itineraries, including flights, accommodation, transportation, and activities.

Handle reservations and bookings for various travel services, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.

Prepare and manage travel documents, such as itineraries, tickets, and insurance policies, ensuring all client needs are met.

Provide excellent customer service before, during, and after travel, addressing any inquiries or issues that arise.

Assist in promoting travel packages, upselling additional services, and achieving sales targets.

Perform general administrative duties, including managing client files, processing payments, and updating databases.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

You must have at least 1-2 years recent retail travel experience

Excellent customer service skills

Attention to detail and organisational abilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with travel booking systems

Passion for travel and an enthusiasm to learn about the industry is a must.

THE PACKAGE:

This exciting retail travel consultant role will come with a great competitive salary or 23k-25k (FTE) plus performance based commission and employee discounts on travel and accommodation, and is part time (3 days a week + 1 half Saturday once a month).
