An established, successful, three generational luxury travel company based in the Altrincham area are looking for a proactive, resilient and loyal Trade Account Manager to join their high end niche business.

Do you have experience in clients relationships, account management and the ability to present the brand to 200 plus worldwide companies? Are you able to fit in with a small team and follow the company values? Do you have experience and knowledge of delivering product training in person or via Zoom?

This role would suit an ambitious and successful account executive or junior account manager looking to take the next step and have greater control of the account management process. The role is focussed on varying amounts of contact time on these accounts to ensure clients are kept up to speed with product updates, commercial terms and other key selling messages plus ensuring their sales material is accurate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management of a wide base of international operators and agents maintaining regular communication re: sales targets, commission structure, product updates, product training, product promotion and marketing spend
  • Identify, recruit, develop new and existing operator and agent relationships
  • Representation of the company at appropriate trade and consumer functions and exhibitions
  • Monitoring partners' representation of the company's products and providing up to date and accurate information to partners to maximise our presence via offline (brochures) and online channels (website, e-mails).
  • Responsible for managing communication during office opening hours with agents and directs through the Live Chat function
  • Manage the follow up correspondence with trade and directs following brochure downloads and incoming enquiries
  • Assisting with the flow and content of product information via all digital marketing channels (E-Mail, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Blogs)
  • Support the Reservations Manager when required with making bookings on the reservation system and supporting all follow up pre-travel and post-travel correspondence
  • Maintaining and updating agent and direct customer databases
  • Monitoring of competitor activity via all sales and marketing channels

About the role:

  • This role is office based with the potential to work hybrid once trained in the Altrincham area.
  • Working hours are Monday to Friday with office hours.
