Experienced Ticketing Consultant required for a leading, award-winning Travel Company. This is an exciting time to join this tour operator as they continue their success story with further expansion. If you have experience within the ticketing department of a Tour Operator, using a GDS, this is an excellent opportunity to continue your career with a growing Travel Company, within their operations and ticketing team.
JOB ROLE:
You will be working within a team to ensure effective and efficient processes of all ticketing functions, focusing on providing excellent customer service.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
* Ensuring all Airline tickets are issued to relevant airline and company deadlines
* Ensure 100% accuracy on all ticket and document issues
* Have a good understanding on airline route networks and products/services offered by the carriers
* Understand different booking classes
* Be able to use Amadeus to book, ticket, fare build and fare file
* Reissuing tickets due to time changes or passenger action.
* Processing ticketing on group bookings.
* Making amendments to ticketed published fare bookings.
* Making amendments to ticketed consolidator fare bookings.
* Calculating fare differences on published and consolidator fare bookings.
* Build relationships with Airlines and service providers to ensure our clients always get the best attention, both before & during travel period.
* Assist and liaise with other internal teams and departments concerning any Ticketing & Documentation matters
* Assist with schedule changes & documentation re-issues
* Ensure 100% customer satisfaction at all points on our Customer Journey
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
* Excellent Amadeus knowledge
* Positive attitude and good communication skills
* Strong organisation and customer service skills
* Confidence to work in a busy varied role
* Ability to work under pressure
THE PACKAGE:
Salary is dependent on experience, and comes with an excellent benefits package including, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, health care, pension, travel discounts. There is also potential in this role to process to become Ticketing Manager for the business. It is an excellent career move to an established Tour Operator, with a great reputation and ambitious & realistic growth plans.
