My clients are a family friendly company that take pride in the way they look after their staff. They are looking for a Sales Manager to lead the sales team, product develop and grow the ski tours department. You will also be the first point of contact for clients looking to plan a skiing trip, listening to their requirements and creating trips tailored to their requirements and budget. This role is hybrid based in Nottingham and has great company benefits.
JOB ROLE:
⦁ Be responsible for growing your sales pipeline, pitching and presenting to win new business
⦁ Develop relationships and build strong connections with key clients
⦁ Act as direct Line Manager to your team and be responsible for the training of staff within your team
⦁ Work closely with Marketing Dept using your team to ensure tour portfolio is updated where necessary
⦁ Lead on product design and development, and work closely with your operational counterpart to achieve this
⦁ Ensure the team is motivated and focused on personal and departmental targets
⦁ Co-ordinate dashboard coverage when staff are of out of office
⦁ Working closely with the Head of Sales & Product to plan the delivery of yearly department targets
⦁ Assist with cleansing the tour mix and focusing on key products for ease of delivery and maximising tour profits
⦁ To carry out emergency phone duty (supplementary pay applicable)
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
⦁ You must be commercially astute and have excellent communication skills at all levels
⦁ Excellent attention to detail
⦁ Self-motivated
⦁ Target driven
⦁ Previous experience of working in the ski travel sector
⦁ Ability to work to tight deadlines
⦁ Proficient in the world of MS Office
⦁ A passion for ski and travel
PACKAGE
The successful candidate will receive an salary of up to £34,000 plus commission. Hybrid working, flexible working, Monday to Friday, On site parking, private health insurance and 25 days holiday plus many additional benefits, discounts and incentives which make this such a great company to work for!
