As a Sales Manager you will be working within an office environment responsible for leading, developing and coaching a team of Travel Sales Consultants with the aim of improving their performance, profitability and conversion.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Responsible for recruitment, training, management and motivation of the sales team.
  • Leading the sales team with drive, energy and urgency in order to meet & exceed targets.
  • Effectively manage the performance of individuals within the team ranging from new starters to high performers.
  • Tackle underperformance promptly.
  • In conjunction with Company Owners, take responsibility for setting and communicating targets within the sales team.
  • Provide sales training and constant support ensuring their product knowledge is continually up to date.
  • Take responsibility for responding to situations including issues caused by suppliers to ensure the best result for customers.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Proactive and results driven
  • Experience of managing a successful team.
  • A proven and consistent track record of excellent sales and customer service
  • Comfortable managing others in an inspirational and encouraging way.
  • Passionate about ski, possessing a strong knowledge of Alpine ski with preferable knowledge of skiing in North America
  • Motivated by achieving results through your team and feel at ease negotiating with suppliers.
  • Proven skills in customer service and complaint handling are essential.

PACKAGE:

The successful candidate can expect a very competitive basic salary of £27,000 - £28,000, depending on experience plus fantastic performance related bonuses (OTE £55,000).

HOURS:

Monday - Friday: 9am - 5:30pm
