Are you an experienced Marketing Executive within the Cruise sector of the travel industry and looking for a new exciting challenge?

This is an exciting to opportunity to join a creative and passionate Marketing Team to plan, deliver and measure marketing activity across their cruise brands.

My client is an award winning tour-operator with over 40 years' experience in tailor-making holidays to worldwide destinations. You will support the company in B2B marketing campaigns for their Cruise brand.

Key Tasks

  • Drive campaign planning and delivery and measurement across the brand.
  • Create well-written and meaningful copy and design briefs, taking into account the distribution method and audience
  • Work with our Design Studio to brief in activity and ensure that agreed designs are delivered on time
  • Work across the business to maintain an aligned approach to brand, campaign development and product delivery
  • Communicate with our Trading Team to understand current offers and pricing to use on communications activity
  • Reporting of weekly marketing activity
  • Ensuring spend is within budget for each piece of marketing activity
  • Manage proofing through the creative stages assuring appropriate levels of sign off achieved and feeding back all amendments to Design Team/Marketing
  • Actively communicate marketing plans to the rest of the business, showing an interest and taking appropriate action on any feedback
  • Communicate with the field sales team and call centre to understand the agent landscape and their needs

To be considered for this role, you need to have the following skills, qualifications & experience:

  • Educated to degree level in a marketing or business-related subject
  • Previous marketing and travel industry experience
  • A creative thinker with proven campaign experience
  • Excellent communication skills - a solid knowledge of English grammar and the ability to present ideas in a clear and concise way, both verbally and in writing as well as good copywriting skills
  • An understanding of the principles of brand, marketing and advertising effectiveness
  • An understanding of the creative process and experience or working with design teams
  • Social media knowledge and management
  • Supplier management experienceExperience with Umbraco and social media platforms

Competetive salary, depending on experience £25-£28,000 per annum. This role is office-based, in state-of-the art offices in Leyland, just 10 minutes from junctions 28 & 29 of the M6.
