This amazing company has a very rare opening for a Sales Manager !!

Sales Team Manager need to support the Senior Sales Manager, the Team Manager is responsible for maximising the sales of a team of Travel Specialists while delivering excellent service and maximising the conversion rate from enquiry to booking. The role is focused on the recruitment, training, management and motivation of their team, and leading by example in setting a professional and productive environment with a positive approach to change.

Key Responsibilities Sales Performance & Leadership

  • Set clear targets, monitor performance and use reporting to maximise sales and conversion.
  • Hold effective 1:1s, recognise success and address underperformance promptly.
  • Recruit, motivate and lead a positive, competitive and supportive team.
  • Drive consistent use of the sales process and provide constructive feedback on calls and client interactions.

Coaching & Development

  • Create individual development plans to deliver coaching and training based on performance and product gaps.
  • Promote continuous learning through measurable goals and tailored support for each team member to succeed.
  • Keep knowledge of systems and products current and encourage best-practice sharing across management.
  • Work with Product to strengthen team knowledge and coordinate familiarisation (FAM) trips.
  • Maintain high service standards to ensure client feedback is resolved promptly and professionally.
  • Review feedback trends with specialists and implement actions to improve service.
  • Collaborate with Product and suppliers to resolve recurring issues.
  • Work constructively with managers and contribute openly and positively in meetings.

About You You're the perfect fit if you have:

  • A strong sales record, excellent customer service and travel industry experience.
  • Previous sales leadership or team management experience.
  • Confident communication, resilience and a calm, positive leadership style.
  • Strong organisation, commercial awareness and the ability to motivate a team to deliver results.

The Details The role is offered on a hybrid basis, working from the office on the borders of South West London/Surrey on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This enables the team to be together for collaboration and support there is a bright and vibrant atmosphere in our office and the team regularly socialise both at company events and informally. For the other days of the week you are welcome to choose whether you work from the office or at home, currently the majority of the team choose to work from home on those days. The hours are 38.75 per week, predominantly Monday-Friday. Shifts during the week will be 9am - 5:30pm, with 45 minutes for lunch. There may be the occasional requirement to flex the working times in order to manage workload or responses from overseas partners.
