A leading travel agency and tour operator specialising in cruise packages are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth. The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales initiatives, identifying both further opportunities from our current activity and new sales opportunities, and fostering a high-performance sales culture. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales leadership, strong communication and a deep understanding of the travel industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and company objectives.
- Lead and mentor the sales team, providing guidance, training, and support to maximise performance and productivity.
- Create a sales team structure to facilitate company growth.
- Identify new business opportunities, including partnerships, sales channels and opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key industry partners.
- Analyse sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and optimisation.
- Collaborate with marketing, product development, and other departments to ensure alignment and integration of sales efforts.
- Monitor and evaluate sales performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.
- Stay informed about industry developments, competitor activities, and market dynamics, adjusting strategies and tactics as needed.
Qualifications:
- Experience in sales leadership roles, preferably in the travel or hospitality industry.
