We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Sales Executive combining both outdoor and indoor sales tasks. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the success of our airline sales operations and play a vital role in supporting our sales team. The Job:

  • Support and strategic expansion of the existing customer base in the office and in the field
  • Fully knowledgeable of the airline product
  • Support in the creation and implementation of the marketing and budget plan
  • Maintaining regular contact with assigned travel trade partners and commercial companies
  • Visiting agents to present airline product information and training to front line staff.
  • Interpreting revenue statistics, data and providing statistical reports.
  • Identifying new sources of revenue from UK travel trade
  • Administrative support
  • Carrying out market and potential analyses, follow up on the findings.
  • Implementation of target group-specific sales and marketing measures
  • Regular pricing benchmarking and timely reporting
  • Maintain database updated for all systems and regular e-mail distribution.
  • Organizing and coordinating customer events
  • Monitoring of contracts and distribution of tariffs and other airline news to the market
  • Product training and participation in trade fairs and events
  • Implementation of target group-specific sales and marketing measures

Skills Required:

  • Completed studies in business administration/Aviation or training in Aviation.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in airline sales, ideally with an airline company in the UK market
  • Understanding travel industry/aviation market and mechanics of UK trade
  • Technical understanding of airline operations, reservations, and group sales
  • Technical understanding of the various channels of distribution used in the UK marketplace.
  • Proficiency in computer skills (MS Office, Excel and PowerPoint in particular)
  • Knowledge of Amadeus Altea GDS is preferred.
  • Advanced organizing skills
  • Distinctive sales personality with passion for the airline industry and understanding of the segments of the travel and tourism industry.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English (further language skills are an advantage, especially Hindi
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication, great interpersonal skills, and a pleasant, outgoing personality

The Package:

  • Salary £32,000
  • Competitive salary depending on experience.
  • 37.5 hours per week, Hybrid Working
  • 21 days annual leave increasing to a maximum of 25 days, excluding bank holidays.
