Luxury Tour Operator that specialises in sports are looking to grow their Formula One product. Offering bespoke high-end luxury itineraries for sports fans and groups, they already feature travel, accommodation, and hospitality at different Grand Prix around the Globe, but are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager, who can really own and grow this part of their business, a real opportunity to put your stamp on their Formula One offering. This role can be fully remote, hybrid or office based - the client's Head Office is in Greater Manchester and they have an office in Kent too. Salary is very much negotiable and dependent on experience as this is a new role and they're very much open-minded.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Working hands on to manage the development of the F1 product within an established Sports Tour Operator
- Be responsible for enquiries, booking, sales of existing product
- Take ownership of the whole client experience throughout from booking to travel, to post-booking and repeat booking
- Whilst making bookings is a necessary part of the role whilst this sector is developed, the main remit is to business develop the Formula 1 business
- Putting together luxury packages to Grand Prix's around the world, by sourcing and negotiating hospitality packages, hotels and F1 experiences that stand out
- Competitor analysis and market research to ensure you stand out in the marketplace
- Promoting the products to increase sales and working with marketing
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
You will already be working within Formula 1 Sports Tours with at least 5 years' experience and know the industry inside out. You like the idea of owning your own product within an established business, and the change to shape its future.
