I am seeking an experienced Travel Consultant to join a reputable, established independent Travel Agency. My client has a number of branches across the UK and is offering a fantastic opportunity for a Travel Sales Consultant to join their branch in Essex. This role will suit someone with good Travel Agency experience, excellent customer service and a passion for travel. An above average salary is available for the successful candidate!

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Working in a branch, with a small team of travel consultants
• Greeting customers face to face and also over the phone
• Quoting on a wide variety of worldwide travel itineraries
• Selling both package and dynamically packaged holidays
• Offering your customer a choice of tour operator, to sell the right holiday for their needs
• Selling additional products and services, such as car hire and travel insurance.
• Working to sales targets to earn commission whilst offering excellent customer service

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• A minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a travel agency environment
• Passionate about travel and customer service
• Enthusiastic, creative and with a positive attitude

THE PACKAGE:

• The salary is highly competitive, in the region of £22k dependent on experience, plus bonuses.

HOURS:

You will be working 3 - 4 days per week (negotiable), on a rota between Monday - Saturday, 9.00am - 5.30pm
