This role is based near Ipswich (and easily commutable from Ipswich, Stowmarket and the surrounding vicinity The Travel Industry is seeing a huge resurgence as the demand for holiday rises dramatically. • As an Independent Travel Consultant, you can expect to be dealing with dynamic packaging and tailor-made holidays, along with package holidays.
• Working face-to-face and over the phone taking enquires from customers using the computer system.
• Offering excellent customer service and quoting on European and worldwide destinations to meet your customer needs
• Converting these enquiries into bookings.
• Keeping your product and brand knowledge up to date whilst having in-depth knowledge of the company's brochures and destinations.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

This is both an opportunity for experienced Travel Consultant and for those not experienced in the industry. If you have not worked in travel but have excellent customer service and people skills and absolutely love travel & holidays, then they are will to train. You just need to demonstrate that you have excellent telephone and face to face customer service skills. An ability to utilise this to sell, good general computer skills and a willingness to learn. This could suit someone who is well travelled themselves!

THE PACKAGE:

Basic salary is very much dependent on your experience and negotiable. There are additional benefits, such as discounted holidays and as the Travel Industry recover they expect their to be more tour operations incentives and educationals to visit destinations too!
