The Job
- Working within the team that is responsible and accountable for achieving the short let/holiday bookings villas in the South of France and Mauritius, you will have individual responsibility for driving revenue via specific luxury travel agents, as well as using your own network of contacts to generate and cultivate a strong network of agent/broker and HNW client contacts across Europe, the Middle East, the US and Mauritius, to facilitate the short let of
- Ensuring properties are presented in the most positive way.
- Conducting viewings
- Liaising with PR companies to generate appropriate exposure to the villas and attending and helping to organise agent 'fam' trips, dinners, lunches, agent drinks and events.
- Preparing for, organizing and overseeing photo shoots and video shoots
- Input into marketing material - brochures, Look Books, videos etc.
- Assisting with market research, comparables and appraisals
- Overseeing operational duties and the preparation of the villas and the service team when we have bookings and being the key interface with the Service Delivery Manager and guests 'on the ground' during bookings.
- Liaising with resort staff, Property Managers and the House Managers as required
Skills Required:
- Must be fluent in French. Other languages are an advantage.
- 5-10 years plus luxury travel agent experience, ideally with a focus on villas in the South of France
- Demonstrable experience in revenue generation
- The role is UK based, able to travel and spend time out of the UK.
- Possess a strong or growing agent/broker contact base and the capability to network effectively.
- Excellent commercial awareness and strong negotiation skills
- Ability to interface with agents who have connections into HNW networks and be confident in developing business relationships with the guest family offices and guests direct.
- Strong customer focus
- An enthusiastic and confident personality with an ability to communicate effectively and articulately with a variety of personalities.
- A flexible, determined and positive 'can do' attitude with an ability to find solutions to problems.
- Self-motivated and resilient to challenges and setbacks.
- Excellent organisational skills, high attention to detail and the ability to undertake a broad range of activities.
Package:
- Salary £50,000 per annum and attractive bonus structure
- Full time office-based role in London - with frequent travel to Mauritius required
