Established Tour Operator, specialising in luxury adventure and expedition travel, a leader in its field is expanding again and is looking to recruit a hands-on, entrepreneurial-minded Sales Manager, to manage and grow a team of Specialist Travel Consultants, driving sales. The team are both office & remote based, so you will be flexible to travel to Bristol offices on occasions. Salary is competitive, based on experience, with additional team & company bonuses, and additional benefits. If you have solid sales team management experience within the travel industry or a luxury industry, and a true love of travel and the outdoors, this is a challenging, exciting and rewarding next step.

THE ROLE
The Sales Manager will play a pivotal role within the company and your key responsibilities will be to innovate, shape and influence the future trajectory of the Patagonia Sales Team. You will be using your expertise to manage, coach mentor and motivate the sales team to achieve your full potential.
ABOUT YOU:
This is definitely not your average sales manager role! You will have 'been there, done that and got the T-shirt' when it comes to leading, inspiring and developing teams to reach their full potential. If you have Antarctic experience first-hand or selling, this is great, but you don't need to already be an Patagonia Specialist, you just need to be passionate about the great outdoors, adventure travel and keen to learn the product.
- You will possess a deep and nuanced understanding of sales and the sales process, willing to be hands on as required.
- Experience selling an experiential high end product.
- Confident to manage people remotely and grow a team remotely
- Ambition, with Entrepreneurial flair and a strong work ethic
THE PACKAGE:
The salary is negotiable and competitive, dependent on your level of experience. There are additional bonuses available based on the performance of your team and also a company bonus. They offer 25 days holiday per annum (plus your birthday), and an annual 2-3 week educational trip in Antarctica. Standard working hours are 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday. HOMEWORKING (able to get to Bristol periodically).Company benefits include annual travel insurance, group pension scheme, bike-to-work scheme, flexible working policy, opportunity to work-and-travel and an annual Summer Adventure.
