Established Tour Operator, specialising in luxury adventure and expedition travel, a leader in its field is expanding again and is looking to recruit a Customer Service Executive for their team of Patagonia specialists.

Salary is competitive, based on experience, with additional team & company bonuses, and additional benefits. A UK based Tour Operator, with a global team specialising in luxury adventurous trips to Antarctica, Patagonia and Arctic. THE JOB:

Your role is to offer unrivalled personalised service to all of our Patagonia customers from the point of booking until their return

Our customers are our lifeblood and we take enormous care to bring them the best possible experiences. You will put customers at the forefront of everything you do and pride yourself on the standards of service you are providing.

You will spend the majority of your time proactively liaising with your customers, primarily over the phone, understanding their needs, sharing inspirational content and ensuring they have everything they need for their forthcoming adventure.

You will ensure the smooth running of their trip by liaising with our partners on the ground to confirm all of their arrangements to guarantee an unforgettable experience.

You will also be responsible for generating revenue through the commercial value of repeat and referral bookings, and through the sale of 'Gateway experiences' and other trip add-ons (eg flights, kit, insurance, carbon offsetting etc)

Be the first point of contact, responding to your customers queries timely, sharing your expertise throughout

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Experience in travel sector
  • Previously travelled to one of our destinations
  • A real hunger to travel
  • A passion for the natural world, embracing opportunities to get into the wild
  • At least 2 years working in a customer experience role where rapport/relationship building was a core responsibility
  • Excellent interpersonal, and communication skills, listens to others and seeks clarification. Contributes and gives input to discussion
  • A desire to ensure every customer has a memorable experience at the ends of the earth
  • The ability to maintain a calm demeanour when things change or don't go as planned.
  • To be able to stay calm and support customers through incidents, and emergency situations.

THE PACKAGE:

  • The salary is competitive up to £29,000, dependent on your level of experience.
  • They offer 25 days holiday per annum (plus your birthday), educational trips.
  • Monday to Friday 0900-1800
  • Homeworking & Hybrid working in terms of location (able to get to Bristol periodically)
