Calling all cruise professionals! My client has a fabulous opportunity for an operations assistant to join a multi award-winning cruise company and become part of their success story! Now celebrating 11 years, the company has achieved phenomenal success from its passion for the travel industry and its award-winning people. You will have excellent attention to detail and have a passion for delivering exceptional service and team work. You will have experience in flight changes using web based systems and a strong knowledge of airlines and rules.
This is a Monday to Friday role 9-5.30pm based in their luxury Altrincham office.
Role:
- Process and finalise flight, hotel and transfer bookings in line with the companies' policies and procedures.
- Proactively source alternative flights for schedule changes and deliver to customer in a timely and efficient manner.
- Support the customer with pricing and finalising any flight upgrades at the point of booking.
- Deliver an exceptional service to all customers through an efficient, one touch resolution approach to phone queries.
- Adhere to policies and processes when dealing with customers to ensure a satisfactory service delivery and resolution.
- Act as an Ambassador for the brand and provide a company image to all customers that reflects our Excellence charter.
Responsibilities:
- Work Collaboratively with other teammates to ensure exceptional service delivery and ensure the customer is at the forefront of everything we do.
- Attend and participate in team meetings, training and personal development to ensure that you are the best version of yourself.
- Contribute to supporting the teams learning through attending ship events and feeding back first-hand experiences.
Required Skills:
- Proven Experience in an Operations role is essential.
- Strong IT Skills including keyboard skills and experience of using the Microsoft Office suite.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to provide exceptional service through varied methodology - i.e., by Telephone and Email.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of attention to detail and ability to spot problems and provide resolutions.
- Strong customer service skills to support in resolving issues and providing reasonable resolutions.
- Previous travel industry experience is essential.
