Amazing opportunity available for an Operations & Administrative Assistant to join a Tour Operator in Berkshire. As the Operations & Administrative Assistant you will be Assisting the Managing Director in the daily operations and conducting general administrative tasks efficiently and accurately in a travel business environment.
The Job:
- Answer phone calls, greet any walk-in customers, guests etc.
- Take customer details, manage basic holiday queries and endeavour to start sourcing suitable options.
- Liaise with customers, service providers, suppliers etc. as required.
- Load customer / booking data into the reservation systems
- Issue booking documents (invoices, tickets, itineraries, vouchers etc.)
- Check supplier invoices.
- Post invoices into the accounting system
- Take customer payments.
- Request / book services for customers via multiple reservation platforms
- Correspond with service providers Worldwide.
- Select, configure, and process product data/details for website upload.
- Basic website content management
Skills Required:
- Highly organised with great attention to detail.
- Confident talking to clients on the phone. Confident using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
- A love of travel - having travelled on your own for a few months or years or perhaps you've spent any opportunity taking short breaks to explore the world.
The Package:
- Salary £23,000 - £25,000 depending on experience.
