We are excited to be recruiting an Office Administrator to join an award-winning travel company. The position combines several clerical and administrative roles in one, with the Office Administrator responsible for the smooth running of the office, including everything from welcoming visitors to dealing with all office admin and post.
The Job:
* Responsibility for the smooth running of the office, from stock taking and general tidiness to reordering of supplies and dealing with ongoing maintenance (such as changing lightbulbs etc)
* Responsibility for all elements of postage, from franking machine maintenance (with our suppliers) to posting brochures, family packs and gifts for clients in collaboration with the Marketing and Service teams
* Responsibility for implementing the office sustainability program, from watering plants to making sure team and cleaners recycle correctly
* Welcoming visiting suppliers and clients
* Implementing any necessary office health and safety regulations in the office, as identified by the Directors
* Assisting with uploading images to our image library
* Managing ongoing relationships, such as with the cleaners, air conditioning service team, milk delivery company, fire extinguisher maintenance providers, key fob providers, alarm maintenance team etc.
* Managing starters/leavers and office on-boarding process
Skills Required:
* Time spent in an office environment previously would be an advantage
* Demonstration of basic computer skills and ease with Microsoft 365, including its apps Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneDrive and SharePoint
* Demonstration of good organizational and time-management skills, and attention to detail
* Demonstration of initiative and proactivity, and interpersonal/communication skills
* Demonstration of an understanding of the company's ethos and culture
The Package:
* Starting salary dependent on experience £20,000 - £24,000
* 23 days annual leave, increasing one day per full year of service up to 30 days
