Calling all marketing executives! An excellent opportunity exists to join a successful specialist travel company on a temporary maternity cover basis and be part of their busy marketing department.

Job Purpose:
*The Marketing Executive supports the Product & Marketing Manager with the implementation of the product strategy through monitoring the market and competitor activity, developing existing and new products and ensuring that the product meets customer needs.
*To assist in the development and execution of a range of marketing communication campaigns across the full marketing mix to attract, convert and retain more clients

Key Job Responsibilities:
Development, management and co-ordination of multi-channel communication campaigns.
*To increase brand awareness and assist in meeting acquisition targets through use of brochures, direct mail and email campaigns.
*Specify product and price content for marketing campaigns to ensure the successful promotion of existing and new products
*Ensure online product content for core and allocated products is relevant and up to date
*Monitor the macro and micro environments
*Review customer feedback about existing product and implement product changes which are commercially sound and deliver customer satisfaction
*Development of existing product and new product
*Communicate relevant product information to Contracting, Sales & Operations
*Development of marketing communications to support the conversion and retention process.
*Assistance with development and management of company websites to improve usability and maximise conversion.
*Assistance with development SEO, PPC and email marketing activities.
*Day to day management of online content including use of CMS, ensuring consistency of brand and product promotion with offline activities.
*Report and provide appropriate analysis of online activity.
*Assistance with coordination of print and mailing activities.
*Copy writing for a range of marketing literature.
*Development of client data lists for sales and marketing activities.
*Consistent communication of brand values through customer communication
*Measurement, reporting and evaluation of marketing campaign responses.

Qualifications / Experience Required:
*Multi-channel marketing experience
*Managing website development with third party providers/internal development teams
*Proven experience of working with communication agencies
*Copywriting skills
*Driving traffic using SEO and PPC advertising
*High level of numeracy and good analytical skills
*Understanding of basic commercial principles
*Email marketing campaign management
*Website analysis and reporting
*Excellent PC literacy including Microsoft office
*A Marketing or Business degree / Formal Marketing qualifications e.g. CIM/DIM
*HTML skills
*Full Drivers licence
*Linguistic capability (French, German, Italian, Spanish)
*Good geographical knowledge
*Travel Industry experience
*Ability to communicate at all levels
*Excellent organisational skills
*Experience of working within a customer focused environment
*Ability to keep to deadlines under pressure

The Package:
The successful candidate can expect a competitive base salary of £20-25k depending on experience.
