My client are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Marketing & Content Executive to join a growing, award-winning travel business in the UK and Ireland tourism sector.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a small, ambitious team where your ideas and contributions will have real impact. You'll be involved in shaping how the brand communicates with its audience-creating compelling content, managing campaigns, and helping deliver exceptional customer experiences.
The business specialises in tailor-made, experience-led holidays across the UK and Ireland, with a strong focus on quality, authenticity, and outstanding service. Customers are typically well-travelled and expect high standards-something the team consistently delivers.
Travel industry experience isn't essential. What matters most is your passion for content, strong communication skills, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll support the Marketing Manager and help drive day-to-day marketing activity, including:
Core responsibilities:
- Managing and creating content for social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
- Planning and delivering email marketing campaigns, including automated customer journeys
- Updating and maintaining website content using a CMS (WordPress)
- Coordinating with external agencies (digital advertising, web support, branding)
- Monitoring and reporting on marketing performance, working alongside internal analysts
Additional involvement:
- Supporting PR activity, including press releases and journalist relationships
- Assisting with events and promotional activity
- Helping manage the marketing budget and invoices
- Collaborating with sales teams to identify trends and customer insights
- Contributing to marketing strategy and new product launches
Experience required:
Essential:
- 1-2 years' hands-on marketing experience
- Strong content creation and social media management skills
- Experience with email marketing platforms and CRM systems
- Confident using Excel and Microsoft Office tools
- Experience managing website content (WordPress or similar CMS)
Key skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Analytical mindset with good numeracy skills
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and multitask
- Proactive, curious, and keen to improve processes
- Understanding of GDPR and data management best practices
Bonus:
- Knowledge of UK & Ireland geography
- Experience in travel or hospitality (not essential)
