Are you an experience General Manager within the Travel Industry?

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic General Manager to join a fast growing Adventure Travel company based in South East London.

The role of General Manager has been created as the company founders now wish to take a step-back from the day-to-day operations of the business.

The General Manager is the senior role within the company, taking responsibility for the efficient day-to-day functioning of all aspects of operations and revenue and implementation of the company strategic plan.

The person:

• Experience of organising flight-based group travel packages
• Building and maintaining professional relationships with a range of stakeholders
• Leading a team of staff and driving excellence within that team
• Good understanding of how specialist tour operators generate bookings
• University degree (2:2 or above) or equivalent
• Understanding of how travel packages are formed and how the Package Travel Regulations apply
• Understanding of risk management standards within the adventure travel industry
• String leadership skills, with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders
• Strong IT literacy, particularly spreadsheets
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Creating and maintaining effective working relationships
• Budgeting and forecasting skills
• Exceptional presentation skills
• Drive, ambition and a desire to hit targets and achieve results
• Passion for adventurous travel

The Package:

This is an office based role (Just south of the river), however there will be hybrid/working from home opportunities.

A salary of £50,000 is on offer, plus performance related bonus and opportunity to gain shares in the business.
