We are currently assisting an independent luxury tour operator who are looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to join their fully remote team. As a Marketing Manager, you will maximise commercial opportunities for the company by executing compelling marketing campaigns online and offline and working closely with product, design, sales and technology teams to collaboratively evolve the brand. This role would suit a Marketing Manager with previous travel industry experience dealing with the travel trade and looking for a new challenge.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Learn and maintain a strong knowledge of the company's target audience, products, and competitors.
- In collaboration with Head of Trade Sales and Head of Product and Commercial/Product Managers develop long term marketing strategy and schedule.
- Work closely with the Head of Product and Commercial/Product Managers to develop marketing packages to propose to suppliers.
- Implement new marketing initiatives to increase brand and product awareness, attract new business plus drive greater engagement and loyalty from B2B and B2C channels.
- Manage the marketing output of the company while always ensuring accurate information for the company and supplier is passed on to the appropriate target audience.
- Evolve, manage and rollout effective, reactive, and proactive social media content and platforms.
- Develop and build relationships to ensure increase in PR opportunities for the company.
- Be engaged in re-development when required and oversee ongoing content management of the website.
- Produce inspiring and promotional copy with excellent attention to detail. Always being aware of the target audience and ensuring brand protection, tone, language and creative is suitable.
- Research and analyse marketing trends, be aware of competitor marketing activity.
- Ensure each campaign has clear metrics to assess performance, continually review and refine campaigns as needed to maximise return
- Lead a team of marketing executives/assistants - build relationships, make transparent decisions, and work together.
- Ensure the team is motivated and achievements are acknowledged.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Digital marketing experience within the travel industry
- Experience in measuring activity and presenting results.
- Experience working with the travel trade
- Flexible and pro-active approach
- Ability to manage multiple activities and work to agreed deadlines
- Ability to work collaboratively with others
- Good people management skills
