Are you an experienced Travel Consultant with a sound knowledge of worldwide airfares and experience of booking these via GDS? JOB DESCRIPTION:
The focus of this role is to ensure the best fares are always available for sale, and to offer expert fares support and advice to internal and external customers.

*Communicate new fares, changes, airline updates to relevant internal and external customers
*Respond quickly to fare queries from internal & external customers
*Distribute and price fares across 4 main GDS
*Process refunds on Unused ticketing reports
*Monitor Fares Dept. e-mail inbox
*Update Intranet with relevant airline information
*Have a comprehensive understanding of each airlines nett fare structure and rules
*Create good relationships with airline suppliers

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
The successful candidate will have previous Travel Industry experience, ideally within a Tour Operations or Business Travel environment. You will need to be a committed, enthusiastic and supportive team member, with knowledge of GDS (Galileo, Amadeus, Sabre).
