One of the UK's most successful travel companies are looking for an enthusiastic Direct Email Marketing Executive with a passion for all things travel to join their busy Marketing team. The role requires a methodical person with a determined mindset.

The role
An exciting opportunity to join a busy and dynamic marketing department and play a pivotal role in the development of the direct email marketing strategy. You will be responsible for the creation of engaging e-shots using best practice to drive sale calls, you will be solely for all analytics and the production of timely, management information. Conducting detailed competitor analysis reports and responsible for the management of the email database and checking the quality of the email addresses.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Implementation and execution of email marketing campaigns
* Creation and testing of new email marketing templates and direct marketing communications.
* Analysing and reporting on the success of direct/email marketing campaigns
* Conducting detailed competitor analysis reports for the direct/email marketing manager.
* Responsibility for the management of the email database and checking the quality of the email addresses.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL:

* HNC/BA in Marketing, Business, or similar
* Excellent HTML/CSS experience
* Good understanding of email marketing
* Experience of direct marketing
* Experience of working in a commercial environment
* Knowledge of Google Analytics & email marketing software
* Must be a self-starter that can work to deadlines
* Be an excellent communicator
* Great attention to detail and accuracy
* Strong organisational skills
* Must enjoy the challenge of working in a fast paced, pressurised environment
* Must be flexible in approach to work

DESIRABLE:
* Knowledge of Zurb Foundation

THE PACKAGE:
The successful candidate will be rewarded with a great basic salary in the region of £25-30k plus you will also be entitled to some brilliant travel industry perks and company benefits!
