Are you a successful Event Specialist or Manager who has managed and delivered a range of multiple projects? Do you have Cvent or similar? Do you have excellent communication skills to maintain client and supplier relationships? A leading events business based in Surrey require a Delegate & Event Technology Manager to join an expanding team. You will lead assigned technology projects or assigned technology workstreams configuring event technology solutions using the digital ecosystem of licensed and bespoke platforms. Working closely with the Delegate Management team to create intuitive & innovative platforms for pre-event registration, virtual and hybrid event environments, and onsite technology solutions. Fulfilling a subject matter expert role in internal and external settings, driving clients and internal teams alike to embrace new technology solutions.
The Job:
- High proficiency in the use of all event technology software solutions including: Cvent, 6connex, Aventri, crowdcomms and bespoke web-based systems.
- Creating reports (standard- and client-specific)
- Creation, maintenance, and use of invitation lists
- Intermediate capabilities with content update
- Understanding of multi-path registration flows incl. travel & hotel modules
- Creating & managing event emails
- Strong data analysis skills - filtering and summarizing data
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ensure all websites are effectively tested and documented, including client feedback
- Manage, check, and cleanse all external data received from clients and/or suppliers
- Manage the development and launch of event technology solutions including email communications, registration websites, virtual environments, and apps
- Proficient understanding of HTML
- Lead the creation & management of post-event surveys working with internal teams to produce actionable feedback results and analysis
- Understanding and market awareness of other event technology solutions
- Recommend functionalities and up-sell on additional plug-in technology
- Set-up reports in accordance with the project requirements and ensure that templates are in place
- Training and support of team members
- Support (as required) with internal technology projects
The Package:
- Salary £30,000 - £35,000
- 25 days holiday per year plus bank holidays
- Discretional Annual Profit Related Bonus (not guaranteed)
Health Insurance - Pension 4% contribution
- Commission for all New Client Business introduced (5% paid for the first year of business - full details available)
- Flexible Working (Business needs will always prevail therefore, we will require all employees to attend the office 03 days per week - full details during interview)
