We are working with a reputable Tour Operator (who are based in the West End) who are looking for an experienced Customer Service Executive to join their friendly team.
As a Sales Consultant, you will be expected to service both our Direct Clients & Travel Agent Partners with a professional and friendly manner at all times whilst dealing with their new booking enquiries.
As a Customer Service Consultant, you will be expected to service both our Direct Clients & Travel Agent Partners in a professional and friendly manner at all times whilst dealing with their enquiries on their existing bookings.
Responsibilities:
- To handle existing booking calls from both Direct clients & Travel agents in a professional manner.
- To deliver exceptional customer service to our discerning, loyal customers who book high value trips.
- To manage Customer Service emails by responding within the expected time frame with excellent written communication skills (General query emails, product/inclusions/commissions/flight upgrades & changes).
- To handle overflow of new booking calls from both direct clients & Travel agents in a professional manner.
- Demonstrate the ability to multi-task between calls, emails & other operational tasks assigned to you.
- Capable of managing Pre-Departure Courtesy calls & provide updates to affected bookings - Itinerary/hotel change notifications.
- Support in and occasionally outside of office hours with crisis events such as high & low water/flight changes/non-operational tours
- Daily reports assistance - accounting and general admin.
- Assisting the DOCS team when and if required due to increased work loads.
- Confident in using multiple Microsoft programs especially excel with the day-to-day workload, tasks and data entry.
- Take day-to-day initiative and share knowledge with other team members.
Skills & Qualifications Required:
- Always deliver a positive and enthusiastic approach.
- High attention to detail.
- The ability to handle difficult conversations with customers.
- Proven sales skills and the ability to upsell/cross-sell where appropriate.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Experience working with a GDS (desirable)
- Demonstrate a flexible approach to workloads to able to handle whatever needs doing.
- Excellent written and oral communication competency.
- A willingness to take responsibility and to work as a part of a close team.
- Flexibility to work on a Rota Basis 37.5 hours per week between Monday - Sunday.
- Ability to work in a high pressured environment.
- Ability to adapt to the company culture and live the company values.
- Thorough knowledge of our travel products
The package:
- A salary of £25,000
