Business Travel Team Leader now required.

My client are a leading independent Travel Management company based in the City of London and are now seeking an experienced Business Travel Team Leader to join their highly successful organisation. This is a positive, challenging and a rewarding role for an experienced Senior Business Travel Consultant that is looking enhance their career with a friendly and dynamic team. As a Business Travel Team Leader you will be responsible for mentoring and developing a team of professional business travel consultants whilst delivering a consistently high level of service to a portfolio of Corporate Clients. The successful candidate must have a strong leadership background.

Duties Include:


*Deal with enquiries including complex itineraries received by phone or email from start to finish including flights, accommodation, car hire, rail and ancillaries.
*Offer the best solution for each customer whilst optimizing profit opportunities
*Provide quotes, book, issue tickets and reissue tickets for all fares worldwide (including published fares, nett fares, CAT35 fare, route deals), as well as refunds using Amadeus GDS.
*Manage queues and issue tickets prior to deadline, as well as handle schedule changes from airlines and amend itineraries according to clients' changes.
*Ensure all individual and team KPIs are consistently met.
*Take accountability for the consistent performance of your team by leading, supervising, mentoring and developing team members in the business' premium quality, ruthlessly efficient service delivery.
*Provide assistance and guidance with Fares, Ticketing, Re-issues and Customer Queries & Complaints.
*Ensure all employees receive regular performance appraisals and feedback.
*Ensure staff comply with all company and client policies and procedures.

Experience Required:


*Previous people management experience essential.
*Good written and verbal communication skills
*Works well under pressure - calm and professional at all times
*Good knowledge of Amadeus, airfares, reissues, how to read PNR history,
*Confident, decisive, clear thinking, positive attitude

The Package:

This position is offering a competitive basic salary £32,000 - £35,000 DOE, and the opportunity to enhance your career with in this dynamic and forward-thinking corporate travel company.
