An incredible opportunity has become available for a Business Travel Manager - Fares Expert to sculpt a new operational margin making system. Are you an airfare expert? Are you confident in Amadeus? Can you design and deliver training to our fantastic consultants?

This position for a Business Travel Manager - Fares expert you will be working with many areas of the business to ensure we have the correct content and automation routines in place. A large part of this this role will be identifying opportunity through continuous sweeping of bookings in Amadeus and being able to provide reporting to the business to help with customer conversations.

The Job:

• Train our consultants on how to best use the tools available to search and book the best content.
• Identify bookings in which using a different distribution channel (GDS, BB, TP connect) would create a saving or margin.
• Engage with consultants to educate and train on how to identify future opportunities.
• Educate and deliver TP connect, Better Buying and airfare
• Use post-booking robotics to identify missed savings/margin opportunities.
• Identify and record the saving/margin opportunity to be presented to management teams
• Educate with training so the consultant can self-identify future opportunities
• Identify saving/margin opportunities through sound airfare awareness.
• Maximise airfare content and airfare rules to deliver savings/margin opportunities.
• Work closely with supply team to ensure all latest opportunities are known to the consultants

Skills Required:

• At least 2 years' experience in a support or consultant capacity
• Good level of competency in Amadeus
• Ability to promote and deliver up-to-date training to the consultants in-brand.
• This is a hybrid role alongside working from home and office location.

The Package:

• Salary £40,000 + Incentive
• Monday to Friday with core working hours
