CALLING ALL TRAVEL AGENCY SALES MANAGERS/BDM'S!!
Leading luxury Travel Company are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager who is passionate about all things travel. My client is a highly reputable, hotel operator and they are currently looking to recruit an experienced Business Development Manager to help develop and grow their presence within the travel agency community in the North West. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a well-established travel company, to help them grow new business and reach booking goals.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
* Working with the Sales teams to develop and deliver our UK travel community strategy
* Build strong relationships with our key agents to maximise revenues through, but not limited to, marketing, delivering staff training and educational trips
* Conduct sales calls with agents and ensure all sales activity is logged, identifying key trends where applicable
* Identify and win new business - for our tailor made, escorted tours, expedition cruise and villas products
* Organise and host educational trips
* Attend appropriate industry events and forums
* Provide market feedback and intelligence to the executive and senior management team
* Act as an ambassador for both luxury brands, providing exemplary customer service to our travel agents and their employees
* To be included in and be aware of all agent enquiries and quotes being handled by Travel Consultants to drive conversion
* To act as the agents' point of contact for escalation purposes
* Negotiate commission levels with agents in accordance with management guidance


EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
* A minimum of five years' experience within the travel industry
* A minimum of two years selling to the UK agency community
* Excellent communication skills

THE PACKAGE:
* This offers a starting salary of £30,450 plus car allowance, bonus and incentives/company benefits
* This is an established reputable company who are very much expanding.
* Homeworking but travel is necessary with this position (occasional travel to the head office)
