JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for an experienced BDM / Sales Manager for the generation of new business opportunities whilst maintaining existing relationships. The role is suited to a customer focused individual, with experience working within the corporate travel industry.

BDM / Sales Manager duties:

• Manager new business, you will develop & manage new business relationships
• Present the company too potential clients through direct communication in meetings, telephone calls and emails
• You will effectively interact with other departments in all aspects of the sale and new client requirements
• Representing the company at events and tradeshows
• Managing and maintaining a pipeline and ensuring all sales administration is current using the CRM software (Umbrella)
• Responding to tenders and requests for information in a timely manner
• Working closely with the Head of New Business Development, regarding new client implementation
• Assist and support Operations Manager with the day-to-day management of the Operations team (office based, up to 8 staff)
• Assist with recruitment, development, and motivation of the sales team

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

The successful candidate will have a positive approach to researching and analysing new business opportunities and the ability to build rapport and maintain client relationships.

THE PACKAGE:

You will be offered a rewarding and competitive salary, circa £47,000 per annum (depending on experience) plus commission / bonus. This position will be working on a Hybrid pattern - 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
