My client a unique Corporate Travel company in Manchester, due to continued success are recruiting for a Business Analyst to join their team. In this role you will be defining and owning the capabilities of the companies business systems. You will work closely with the team to change processes and systems to support and benefit the business.

Key Duties:

• Be a key expert for software platforms, product sets and business system capabilities
• Seek solutions and address deficiencies in product and processes within the business
• Be able to develop and define capabilities of an existing product or process in live operation
• Capture and transform business requirements into technical solutions using appropriate techniques
• Test new functionalities
• Run workshops with internal and external stakeholders, and work with third-party providers and experts where necessary
• Provide assistance, support and guidance to all appropriate personnel for business and technical system requirements
• Analyse and understand APIs for integrating third-party platforms such as airline reservation and airport operation systems, hotel booking facilities, payment gateways, insurance services etc.

Experience required:

• A good understanding of UML
• Knowledge of airline booking tools, Travelport or other GDS systems
• Experience in commercial IT/software delivery
• Previous Business Analyst experience delivering business system and process change
• Proven experience of producing appropriate and effective technical and non-technical documentation
• A good understanding of common interfacing and integration technologies and standards

The Package:

Starting salary is between £50-60k dependent on experience. This role is office based/hybrid in Manchester.
