We are looking for an Assistant Product Manager for a successful friendly team in Chester. To be successful in this role you will need to be hands-on, flexible in your approach, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and work to tight deadlines. You will negotiate market leading rates, exclusive offers and availability with suppliers. Have strong destination knowledge and be a great team player.

This is a full-time role, Chester office-based. You will be required to work 37.5 hours per week, with varied shift patterns Monday to Friday. Salary - £23-25k depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

⦁ Responsible for supporting the Product Manager in negotiating market leading rates, exclusive offers and availability with suppliers
⦁ Aiding in the creation of the product strategy for designated destinations, specifically completing market research, competitor analysis and product performance reviews
⦁ Supporting in the development and management of supplier relationships across a range of product types and across a range of international destinations
⦁ Responsibility for ensuring suppliers pass across all information ready for loading into our booking systems
⦁ Ensuring our Product remains competitive through analysis of rates versus competition, and the follow-up required with suppliers
⦁ Helping to ensure all designated Product lines and suppliers adhere to full Health and Safety requirements
⦁ Supporting the sales teams with product training and information

The Person: Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

⦁ Ideally have previous experience working within a Product/Purchasing/Sales role within a UK Tour Operator
